It has come to the attention of the University Gastroenterology physicians that there is a need for urgent evaluation and follow-up of your patients with GI related issues.  Our mission is to afford your practice and your patients as many service options as possible. For example, for your patients who need urgent care, we will arrange to see them within 24 hours or sooner. We also welcome telephone “curbside consults” if your medical staff has GI related questions.                      

Obviously, patients you feel need emergency GI care should still be referred to a proper facility, but we do have a hospitalist service that is available to aid in the care of these patients.

We have three convenient primary locations for clinical sessions throughout Rhode Island - 33 Staniford Street in Providence, 1407 South County Trail in East Greenwich and 110 Clock Tower Square in Portsmouth.  Patients may have procedures done at the Endoscopy Centers located on the same campus as all of those locations, as well at Rhode Island Hospital, Roger Williams Hospital, Kent County Hospital and Newport Hospital.
